Beaches in Primorsko

Choosing a holiday in Primorsko gives you the opportunity to soak up the sun on several interesting beaches, each with its own characteristics.

The town itself has beaches. In the southern part of Primorsko, you’ll find the South Beach. It can be accessed via a path that runs along the harbor, followed by a rope bridge over the Devil’s River, which flows into the sea and creates a picturesque view.
The beach is more than 2 kilometers long, the shore is shallow and gently sloping, the sand is yellow-gold, not too fine but clean, and the water is blue-turquoise.
You can play volleyball or football, try surfing, jet skiing, water skiing, banana boating, or pedal boating. There’s also an inflatable trampoline for children.
The safety of the beach is ensured by a team of doctors and lifeguards.

The central beach of Primorsko, which is also considered the northern beach, is wide, spacious, clean, and long. The seabed near the shore is gentle. The sand is fine, golden, and fluffy, which beach lovers who enjoy building sandcastles will appreciate.
The beach offers good conditions for sunbathing, with changing rooms, toilets, showers, eateries, shops, a medical team, and lifeguard stations. There is both a paid area with umbrellas and sunbeds, as well as a free area.
Water attractions such as water skiing, pedal boats, banana boating, diving, and jet skiing are available. You can also play beach volleyball or football.
Heading north, there are several interesting beaches.

Stomoplo Bay is located to the north of Primorsko. The beach is unguarded but is a clean and peaceful place.

Perla Beach can be considered an extension of the northern beach of the town of Primorsko. It is located about 3 km north of the town, on the border of the Ropotamo Nature Reserve.

The beach at Maslen Nos is accessible by a dirt road or by boat. This secluded beach offers privacy and tranquility. It is small, approximately 50 meters long, and surrounded by rocks and forest.

Ropotamo Beach is hard to reach, mostly by water. There are no facilities and it is unguarded. The beach is small, and the seabed is gentle.

Arkutino Beach is located in the Ropotamo Reserve and has a large strip of sand, where the rare sand lily grows. From the shore, you can see St. Thomas Island. The beach has a surf school and beach establishments.

Aleptu Beach is a long unguarded beach, also known as the "driver's beach."

Finally, there’s the beautiful and luxurious Dunes Beach. We can continue further north along our Black Sea coast, but this would take us quite far from Primorsko. So, let’s explore the beaches to the south of it.

The International Youth Center is located in the bay between Primorsko and Kiten. It takes its name from the resort village nearby. The beach here has a wide strip of fine, golden sand. The seabed is shallow, with clear and warm water. The area still features the disappearing sand dunes.

You can also visit the beaches of Kiten. Atliman Beach is located in the northern part of the town. Karaagach Beach stretches along the coastline and reaches the mouth of the river of the same name.

Other interesting beaches include Mechata Dupka, Oasis, Coral, and the central beach of the town of Lozenets.

Popski Beach is located at the northernmost part of Tsarevo. It has soft, fine sand and a shallow seabed.

Similarly, you can reach the beaches at the southern tip of our Black Sea coast if you wish to get further away from Primorsko.

As you can see, the choice for beach holidays is vast and diverse: comfortable beaches with great amenities or those providing solitude and breathtaking views. You just need to settle in a comfortable hotel, and where you choose to sunbathe can depend on your mood.
